Area Activities

The area in and around Port Iwalco has much to offer to the visitor...you will find historic lighthouses, military forts, and many other attractions. The area is where the Columbia River and the ocean meet. Lewis and Clark stayed in the area and you will find the opportunity to explore as they did.

If you enjoy the ocean and the beach then the area is just for you. You can go beach driving, bird watching, hiking, kite flying, digging for clams, riding on the beach with horses and of course just plain beach combing.

Throughout the year you will find many festivals and celebrations for your enjoyment. For complete information on our area activities we suggest you visit the Long Beach Visitors Bureau website.
